This video is an edit of the movie Waves by Trey Shults to the song “White Ferrari” by Frank Ocean.
As an artist, much of my work is inspired by how I feel when looking at other work. I’m not a “something out of nothing” kind of person. I most enjoy art when it’s pure human expression, and allows me to connect deeply with the person who made it. It’s because of this connection that I find art that emerges from other art deeply impactful. Jade Hurst, the editor of the video “waves - white ferrari,” combined two raw, emotional pieces of art to create a powerful impact on the viewer. Knowing that the art traveled from Frank Ocean and Trey Shults to Jade Hurst to me to you makes the impact of that art stronger. I hope to one day replace this video with visuals for audio that I make myself, but for now, at least we get to watch something beautiful.
